Prince of Persia ties on eBay!

Prince of Persia ties

Hi there!

It's been a while since I last painted a tie, I really missed it! So this time, I've hand painted two!  :D

I recently rescued some of my old floppy disks from my mother's house, so I guess I'm even more retrogaming-melancholic than usual. I was four years old when the original Prince of Persia came out in 1989, though I played ir for the first time some years later. I was so small and clumsy those first times, that the thing I remember the most about this game is falling on the spikes!

Anyway, this is my little tribute to that classic among classics. I must say I love the result, because it brings back happy gaming memories! ^___^

¡Hola!

Hacía mucho que no pintaba una corbata, ¡lo echaba de menos! Así que esta vez he pintado dos  :D

Hace poco rescaté de casa de mi madre una caja con mis antiguos juegos en diskette, así que supongo que eso me ha puesto más melancólica-retrogamer de lo habitual. Yo tenía cuatro años cuando salió el primer Prince of Persia, allá por 1989, aunque lo jugué unos años después. Era una enana torpe, así que lo que más tengo grabado en la mente de este juego es cómo me caía una y otra vez sobre los pinchos...

Pues éste es mi pequeño tributo a ese clásico entre los clásicos. La verdad es que me gusta mucho el resultado, porque me trae recuerdos felices  ^___^

Purple Tentacle Tie

¡Hola de nuevo!
Después de tartas y guitarras, me apetecía volver a las clásicas corbatas, así que he realizado un pequeño homenaje a uno de los héroes de mi infancia: el Tentáculo Púrpura. ¡Espero que os guste! :)


Hi again!
After making cakes and guitars, I felt like coming back to my ties, so I've paid a small homage to one of the heroes of my childhood: the Purple Tentacle. I hope you'll like it!

La técnica es la habitual; pintura para tela, un pincelito, una película de fondo y horas de diversión :D
Estoy muy contenta con el resultado, la verdad; sobre una camisa negra queda increíble ^^


The technique has been the usual: cloth paint, a small brush, a movie and hours of fun! :D
I'm really happy with the result; it looks amazing over a black shirt ^^
