Purple Tentacle Tie

¡Hola de nuevo!
Después de tartas y guitarras, me apetecía volver a las clásicas corbatas, así que he realizado un pequeño homenaje a uno de los héroes de mi infancia: el Tentáculo Púrpura. ¡Espero que os guste! :)


Hi again!
After making cakes and guitars, I felt like coming back to my ties, so I've paid a small homage to one of the heroes of my childhood: the Purple Tentacle. I hope you'll like it!

La técnica es la habitual; pintura para tela, un pincelito, una película de fondo y horas de diversión :D
Estoy muy contenta con el resultado, la verdad; sobre una camisa negra queda increíble ^^


The technique has been the usual: cloth paint, a small brush, a movie and hours of fun! :D
I'm really happy with the result; it looks amazing over a black shirt ^^

Indiana Jones and the Cake of Atlantis

I don't know if this will make any sense at all in my blog, but whatever...
I had a screenshot from Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis printed over one vainilla frosting sheet. I then made a Four-Chocolate-Cake, and decorated it for a very special birthday :)

I never upload any of my animation exercises, so here is one I made at the beggining of the term. We had to invent a character and make it turn 360º. I know it's a very amateur piece of animation, but I hope you like my cheerleader!

Nunca subo ejercicios de animación y es a lo que me quiero dedicar, así que aquí dejo uno que hice a principios de curso. Teníamos que inventarnos un personaje y hacerlo girar 360º sobre sí mismo. Sé que es muy amateur, pero espero que os guste mi animadora animada (¡metaanimación!).

Rubber Chicken Folder in action!

Rubber Chicken Folder!

Yep, that's me in my pyjamas. But the main character here is my hand painted A3 folder. We got a new one at our animation school, and it just looked too plain!

I wonder if I'll make any friends while carrying it around Madrid for the next ten months :^)

I also wonder if I'll eventually get sued by LucasArts.

Even that would be cool.

Mujer e hijo de leñador canadiense

Ejercicio de un examen de la ESDIP ^^U





Había que dibujar a la mujer y al hijo de un leñador canadiense, sin usar palabras (y, evidentemente, que se pudiera deducir que lo eran).

Lo subo porque últimamente no tengo tiempo para actualizar... y de hecho tampoco para responder a todos los mails <:^/ Peeeero he estado haciendo muchas cosas que espero poder subir progresivamente porque esto está to muerto.

De momento quiero descansar un poco este puente, para lo cual me voy a Londres gracias a lo que gané con las Converse! ¡Un abrazo a todos! ^__^

Una corbata de Darth Vader hecha para mi primo en su 18º cumpleaños.

Es difícil sorprender a alguien que tiene incluso merchandise de aquella aberración llamada Star Wars Holiday Special, pero aún así creo que le gustó ^__^

Y ahora que es legal y no le tengo que pixelar los ojos ni nada, pongo una foto suya para resaltar el carácter familiar de este blog y ya de paso, casarle ;^P

¡Semana del Famoseo!

¿Recordáis esta corbata, basada en Idiots & Angels, la película de Bill Plympton?

No sé si llegué a decir por aquí que el propio Plympton me pidió que le hiciera una (gracias, Facebook). Ahogada en mis propias babas se la hice, se la envié a New York, y unas semanas después recibí un DVD y un dibujo original suyo con un "Thanks for the great tie" que me hizo saltar y saltar por casa hasta que me estrellé contra el marco de una puerta ¬_¬U

Pues bien, he encontrado fotos de Mister Plympton llevando mi corbata a la entrega de los Annie Awards (LOS premios de animación) en Los Ángeles.

Dulce, dulce mes de marzo... no acabes nunca...

By the way, recordad que este fin de semana subiré otra pintamonez que os puede hacer gracia.

También tengo unas nuevas Converse ya en pleno proceso de pintado, y un pequeño proyecto de body painting (pero en la cara xD), así que hay esperanza para este abandonadísimo blog. Quizás hasta me anime a subir mi primer ciclo de andar, que lo rodé ayer :)
